Once upon a time... with visions of the TarHeels floating in my head... I thought... Damn, CarolinaFan.com has the potential to become the ultimate CarolinaFan hangout! So, when I started thinking about where I, as the #1 Carolina Fan, would like to hang out in virtual reality... I realized that I could provide you, the true CarolinaFans, with the ultimate hangout! I wanted a voting poll, message board, chat room, TarHeel audio and video, Carolina links, and lots of Carolina Blue.

Just think about this... If I couldn't get to the game, or TV, or radio, where would I go? Well, there are a number of places to go, but where is the ultimate location? Where can I find a "virtual" Sports Bar with options of a message board or real-time chat to express my thoughts or opinions? Well, I can find this or that at most UNC related sites, but I couldn't find it all. Nor was anything organized with you in mind for ease of use and flexibility.

So with this in mind, CarolinaFan.com was born! I got creative for CarolinaFans! Just think.... you can visit the CarolinaFan Sports Bar (during Fball or Bball season) to listen or view the games (depends on your system capability). And from one site dedicated to CarolinaFans, you can click over to post/view messages or engage in chat during time outs or after the game! That's what I'm all about. I'm not a journalist, but at CarolinaFan.com you can find links to the most comprehensive Carolina Sports coverage! I wanted my site to be the spring board to the World Wide Web of Carolina Sports.
