The Ram Man pays the bills by working with computers. I'm a full-time employee of Metro Information Services, Inc . My title is Information Systems Consultant. I've been with Metro for over 12 years now, and also serve as the WebMaster at our division web site. So, seems there is a solid match of interests! Metro has been really good to me, but I definitely have paid my dues. I seem to get a lot of tough assignments, but that's because they know I'll get the job done... and typically on time and under budget!
I'm currently assigned at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Student Information Services. This is my second assignment there, which I hope will last forever. Help me Dan! During my first assignment I developed a new web application for International Admissions. During my free time at home I developed the web site for SIS. That was one of my greatest and most fun professional accomplishments. Now, the Ram Man is doing some front end development for Student and Faculty Central. And developing the web front-end and some mainframe back-end for a new web application called Carolina RAM - Resource for Advisor Materials. It doesn't get any better than this!
We can dress casual every Friday. Recently, we were told Thursday was fair game too! You can't tell from this picture, but I have a lot of Carolina Tar Heel stuff around me. Living in Raleigh, I work with people who pull for Duke and N. C. State, as well as Carolina! You can imagine all the fun we have on game day, and the day after!
