took over Champion's? If you were there, you'd have to say
both. The bartenders said they'd never seen such a great
crowd. Mick Mixon said during the John Bunting radio show "there are no 'wine 'n
cheesers' here". Mick, you are so astute, man! Carolina
fans were terrific and the Ram Man went ballistic! Time for the
short story.
Saturday night a
Carolina fan asked a bartender at Champion's if Carolina had a good
crowd. He said we did but that we weren't as rowdy or good as a
SEC crowd. But this night, he had to rescind his statement.
He came back to the same Carolina fan and said that he'd never seen
Champion's so wild. And that Carolina fans are rabid and the best
he's seen. They could hear us on the
streets outside. Carolina fans have set the mark. But the
funny thing is that we've only just begun! We were pumped...

been a special player for me. I hugged him after the Maryland game
and I'm pumping him up here. He told me the players are pumped and
ready!

to the coaches... the Beast was
a busy man tonight, but he has embraced the Carolina fans. Way to
go Beast! You da man! Remember I told you last summer you
couldn't retire for 15 years!

Sorry Dickie, but I gotta share this. When I asked for a picture
with him, he said if she's in it. So I immediately screamed,
"Carolina Cathy, get over here!" Great guy!

Our group finally decided to give Champion's
some peace. We heard there were approximately 2000 Carolina fans
waiting outside that wanted to get in.
