Carolina vs. Wake Forest Tailgate Location
October 22, 2002

Raleigh _  Some Carolina fans have asked where we plan to park and tailgate at the Wake Forest game.  All RV's must park in the parking lot beside Lawrence Joel Colisuem.  That parking lot is across the street from Groves Stadium.

Robbie's RV and the Ram Car will be pulling into the parking lot either Friday evening or very early Saturday morning.  We'll be in Winston-Salem later this week and don't know our exact schedule yet.  We're expecting several more RV's and cars to meet us there.  [Yes, we're going to party Friday night, if we arrive in time.]

Wake Forest University recommends taking the Cherry Street exit from Interstate 40.  Coming from either direction, turn north at the end of the ramp, which will take you through the downtown area.  Stay on Cherry Street which will eventually become University Parkway. Continue north on University Parkway to Deacon Blvd. and take a right.  The parking lot should be on your right just after passing in front of Lawrence Joel Colisuem.

With a noon kick-off, we should be in full swing by 9:00 am Saturday morning.  We should be close to the blue star on the map below and will be flying the Carolina flag on a 20-foot flag pole.  If you can't get to the game, you can watch us party on the CarolinaFan Web Cam.

It's time to rally around our Heels and bring the heat with fan support.  Join our group and Get Your Game Face On with other die-hard Carolina fans.  Wear blue and be loud!  We hope to see you there.

Thanks to Mark for tickets and help getting to the game.

Go Heels!  Beat the Deacs!
