Raleigh _  Cota, Cota, Cota!!!  The Ram Man's key match-up was no match-up after all.  Ed Cota drove the light blue Cadillac better than Justin Gainey drove the red pickup truck.  And you had to love that behind-the-back pass!

I must say it was a pleasure to be in the Dean Dome tonight.  All too frequently, the crowd is so quiet I could take a nap.  Not tonight!  I was proud of the CarolinaFans.  The crowd noise definitely was a factor in helping the Heels to victory.

In the college game, the point is one of the critical factors in intense rival games.  Who can maintain focus, control the tempo, and get the most from their team.  Tonight Ed won and Carolina gets another victory over the Wolfpack.

But let's also give credit to all the Heels.  The team shot 71% from the field and 81% from the line.  And that was with a scrappy defense by State.  The intensity was there and the Heels played an all-around great game.  Well, 20 turnovers is a bit too much, and that must decrease by Feb. 3rd.

Kudos to Haywood!  You're on a roll now.  Keep up the good work.  And I have to grin at one other thought.  Our freshman [Forte] outplayed their freshman [Wilkins].  Yahoo, the beat goes on!

Go Heels!!!

P.S.  The new uniforms suck!  Give me "North Carolina"!
