Raleigh __ Carolina
didn't get the opening tip, but after that it was all Heels.
At the 12 minute mark
the Heels had a 10 point lead, 19-9. Carolina
is on a roll now.
With all the Heels playing good, Haywood and Cota are starting
out red hot.
Wake makes a little run
and closes to 5 points. Carolina
gets it back to 9 then
seems to lose some concentration. Wake finds their shot
and closes to 1 point down at the half, 33-32.
Starting the second
half, Carolina
looks a bit shaky.
What's going on Heels? This is not how you get back into
the Top 25. Let's go!
Wake has more energy
and within 4 minutes has a 4 point lead. It's time to
reach down Heels. It's back and forth before the Heels
take an 8 point lead 55 -47 at the 10 minutes mark. Carolina
is just getting warmed up and ready to explode.
The Heels are back!
With 4 minutes to go, the Heels lead by 16, 76- 60, with Forte hitting some big shots.
It's nice to see Carolina
dominate again. This is what we've been waiting for all season.
All the Heels played a
great game, but Joseph was in the zone. Joseph tallied 24
points including 6 three pointers. What a show from
start to finish!
By the way, ABC Sports
sucks! With a 1 1/2 minutes to go, they switch off to
another game. Yes, it's mop-up time for the Blue
team, but it's Carolina
basketball and we want to
see it til the last second.
All CarolinaFans
everywhere are running to their radios. Then we had to
listen to Woody and Mick talk about hamburgers, hot dogs, and
soft drinks. I had forgotten how much I hated listening to
them anymore. Why can't we just watch and listen to the
Heels?
Good
game Heels!!! Now time to think about Valentine's
Day and Cathy!

P.S. The new uniforms suck!
Give me "North Carolina"!
